Rapoo 3200 wireless mouse Review
Purchased 2013-jun-07. Still working great as of 2020-jan
![rapooEnlarged.jpg]()
Rapoo 3200 (to the right) It's annoyingly small, but with a glue gun stick bent in boiling water and some tape, one can make it bigger, (comparing to a Logitech G5 mouse)
![RapooMouseWheel.jpg]()
The mouse wheel extends very little on the Rapoo 3200 (in the middle (comparing to two other mice)). This is really annoying because it becomes more difficult to scroll.
![rapooScrollHole.jpg]()
Make it easier to scroll by making the hole around the scroll wheel bigger.
Negative
- The Ebay advert says its a laser mouse, but it is not, it uses a blue LED. I have a several patterned oilcloths which my laser mice works excellent on which this mouse doesn't handle. I'd say it is about as good as a red LED mouse.
- Small, which makes it uncomfortable. (Maybe one should divide mice into large, medium and small as one do with clothes) (or length: Rapoo 3200: 108mm (the other mice on the picture 130 resp 122 mm)).
- Scroll wheel extends very little from the actual mouse (see picture). This is annoying since you have to move your finger more often.
Positive
- Handles NiMh (1.2V) battery.
- Kind to the battery (Long time between the rechargings)
How to make it better
By making the hole bigger around the scroll wheel (After first disassembling the mouse), one can make the mouse really useful (Although a bit ugly).
I extended the rectangular hole to a larger rectangle: adding 2mm on each side of the wheel, 10mm behind the wheel and extending the hole all the way to the front.
