Dynamixel MX-12W Review
Servo purchased in July 2016.
Negative Criticism
1) The servo stops working after about five minutes ...
After connecting it to power, it works great during the first approx 5 minutes, after that it stops correcting its position in CW direction (Still correcting its position in CCW direction).
For more details see:
dynamixel email conversation etc (Including my comments and images to make it more overviewable)
2) Backlash
Rather much
backlash in the gearbox (compared to other name worthy hobby servos).
The backlash in turn also means gearbox noise.
3) Only DHL as shipping option (See also DHL Review)
4) Costs and how are they willing to solve the non-working servo

In the end they are ready to send a new servo but they expect me to pay ($42.94 + $6) *1.25 VAT (=$61) for the shipping. (See also
DHL Review)
I note that the shipping is more expensive than the first time. I ask if they could just send the circuit board, which would fit in a padded envelope, and send it through normal mail (for a cost of probably $2 (my guess)). But they "cannot" do that.
Positive Criticism
I like the servo-case, the compact size between wheel to the back.
The motor length take up the whole space between back to front the servo, which means the servo is as compact as it can be without going down in motor size.
Also I like the way the gears are placed inside which allows the main-gear-magnet to reach down to the circuit board where the angular sensor chip is.
